Wake up to reality

Just got home from a 3-day retreat, and I won't go into detail right now, because I don't want to spoil it for everyone else. Let's just say it was tiring and fulfilling and it was bittersweet. Right, Gela?

Thanks to all those who gave me palancas and be assured that I will give you one too when it is your turn. I have to say that I was surprised by one of them. It was the most well-written and most inspiring one. I felt great about myself and I was so touched by what was written.

I was so tired when I got back to school, but I still couldn't go home, because I had cotillion practice. It was funny cause everytime we finished the dance, our teacher would smirk and tell us we were really bad, bad, or still bad. After how many repeats, with no rest in between, we finally got the NOT so bad comment. At that, I was satisfied.

It was so exhausting because when we finished one round, she'd ask us if we were tired. We were dead beat, but she couldn't see that, so she'd let us go at it another round. It was crazy, but in the end I was happy with the little progress we made. My wonderful driver, Klar took me home as usual, and I shall be forever grateful to you. You are my favorite carpool.

Today, I have to do five IWs and I have re-edit and compile Talaban because it's due on Monday, and I just don't have time to do it tomorrow due to more cotillion practice at night. Beautiful. I hate Talaban.
