My sister give the best loot. She came from Australia last January and she got me a really cute bag and a stamp that says "FUCK OFF" -- oh what I'd give to stamp it onto people's foreheads for real. Nevertheless, gifts are awesome and I'm happy. Thanks jamypye!!!
Two of the books I finished recently. One was harder to read than the other but both were lovely in their own way. I'm not sure which to write about now that I think about it, but I'll definitely put up something soon about one of the two. If I can manage to write my thoughts out that is.

The girls from StyleBible asked me to test out digital-printed nails. It was the coolest manicure I've ever had and it was so fast. The print is really cute too. I hate that it's already fading though -- I'm never careful with my manicures.

My two grandmas at the same time can be a little too much to handle but it's rare this happens so we let all their quirks slide. To the left is my dad's mom and to the right is my mom's mom. Still strong these two, they lived for both themselves and their husbands -- both of whom I vaguely remember now.
I had eaten at this restaurant before but not their buffet. This buffet was crazy. We didn't have to stand up and just kept ordering what we wanted and they'd bring it over. This was ONE of our starters -- Sisig shooters. SO GOOD. I think I had three servings (four of us shared, okay?!)
One of our main courses was this lamb thing that I don't really remember in detail but know it was pretty damn good. My mom and I were totally holding ourselves back because we could have eaten SO MUCH MORE. I was in a very unforgiving dress too -- wrong choice of clothing.
For dessert, we had a couple but this maja blanca cheesecake was the best for me. I wish I had gotten another serving but at this point I was no longer breathing properly and didn't think it was wise to go on.
Just a few hours later, as if we didn't pig out on lunch, we had some really good street food -- isaw -- which they sell right in front of our house. I hate how there's always a crowd right at our gate, but when I eat this, I sort of forget about the annoying people.
In the spirit of trying to be healthy, I had an apple for dessert -- yeah after pigging out on dinner too. I swear, my family can consume massive amounts of food and not blink an eye. I guess being so plenty, we're so used to having to eat a lot since someone is ALWAYS hungry at one point. This is me trying to play nice.
Because of the earthquake that hit Japan, my mom decided to be prepared if any aftershocks hit Manila. So we took down all our picture frames in the living room and set them out on the table. Seeing all of us in our graduating gowns made me all reminiscent. God, we're getting old, aren't we?
Just because this is pretty much what sums up my entire week and weekend (if Pamy weren't around), I caught some Coffee Prince before going to bed early -- I swear, watching this backwards is just as fun as watching it the right away. I can't get enough of this show.
I can't sew to save my life but my mom is terribly talented with this machine. She sewed all of our uniforms when we were in gradeschool/high school and now she did a bunch of curtains for my sibling's new place in Singapore. I wish I were this crafty with the sewing machine.
