my room; 6:17 amRemember how I stuffed my backpack from my trip home from Singapore? Well these are some of the stuff inside the bag. I bought shoes (some sandals and heels at an outlet store) and now I've got no space in my real shoe rack so they're under my bed. Oh amassing of possessions.
my room; 6:18 amI also bought some books that can no longer fit in my full bookshelf, so I should probably stop buying books? y/y. No. There's actually a book warehouse sale I want to check out this week so looks like I won't be stopping soon. I can't help it. They're too pretty.
my room; 6:19 amI met up with my former boss last Friday and she just recently came from London. She knows about my London love affair but I didn't expect her to get me anything. Well she did and it was a Jane Austen 2011 calendar. It was really sweet of her and I'm just touched.
my room; 6:21 amThe first time I went to Singapore, I wanted to buy myself a deck of tarot cards. I'd been reading about it from a book I borrowed from a friend but it was sort of pricey and I wasn't really going to spend the pocket money my mom gave me on something frivolous. Well this time around, I finally did it. I love the deck. It's really pretty and though I don't really believe~ tarot for serious, it's just fun.
North Avenue Station; 7:11 amTechnically I'm not at the station, as I'm in the sort of empty train when it does it's round trip (this is the last station). And I just recently discovered that I could actually remain in the train and wait for it to go back to the station to load more people. I'm telling you, it's a shitload more.
Boni Avenue Station; 7:39 amAnd see, that's how the train looks once I get off it. You're literally just squished together. Thus my exhaustion when I get home from work and thus my waking up at the ass crack of dawn to go to work. It's all really stressing. I miss Singapore for their transportation alone.
Pioneer Street; 7:46 amThe building in the middle which you can see from its profile is my new building. It's not the prettiest building and the elevators are slower than my older building but it's someplace new so I'm not complaining at all. I shall enjoy the novelty of it all, really.
my office desk; 4:12 pmNot too many photos of the actual office cause I was busy busy busy the entire day but it was good to take a breather around this time and obviously despite it being only my second week, it's a pretty messy desk. I haven't quite moved in because I'm moving places but still. I hate the mess.
my bathroom; 8:01 pmCall the police! It's an ancient mobile phone. I had to dig out my old high school phone (that I now remember died a lot and has a bad battery -- which Nokia no longer produce) because my Motorolla has moved on from this world. I should probably get a new phone, but I'm not up to spending just yet.
my room; 8:03 pmAnd more stuff I bought in Singapore. I didn't really buy a lot of clothes just because I didn't really want to spend spend ALL my money, but I couldn't help it and caved in with some dresses and a cardigan. I think I would buy dresses any day over tops or bottoms.
dining room; 8:12 pmWe had chicken curry for dinner, which I absolutely love and my dad had uni and mushrooms because he's not much of a curry fan. I swear, I don't know how I'll survive if I ever move out. EVER. I will starve or get fat/poor on take out. It's not like I want to remedy this either by learning.
dining room; 8:19 pmAnd finally my favorite drink/obsession since I quit Nestea (Iced tea) and Coca-Cola. My mom bought me Sunquick and I've been in love ever since. It's an orange juice concentrate that's really sour. Which I love. No one else likes it, so it's all mine. UNTIL MY DAD HAD SOME AND LIKED IT TOO. He keeps joking me now that he's going to drink it everyday.
