And so the cast head on over to the Nokia Theater to greet fans that have camped out for days and sign autographs and smile for photos. And wow, were there a gazillion photos. I can only imagine how many cameras were flashing at the same time and how many interviews they gave on the red carpet. But of course, all of these were overshadowed by the fans.
And with just ONE DAY left, I finally get to see the movie and I'm definitely excited. My favorite book of the series, they say it's the best so far, I sure hope so. Let's have some pretty.
Marchesa seemed to be a favorite on the red carpet and the adorable Anna Kendrick showed up in Marchesa Resort 2011 gold pleated fan dress. Though the fans are a tad overwhelming, Anna's bubbly self always makes up for it.
I love Ashley Greene so much and she looked fantastic in her grey Alexis Mabille Fall 2009 Couture gown. I don't think I could ever pull off the draped look. But she does. Pretty is pretty.
What can I say? Mama!Cullen's got it. I don't know if I'm alone in this, but Elizabeth Reaser is really hot. She looked great in her Zuhair Murad black illusion beaded mini dress with nude lining. I'm sure she'd have rocked it even sans lining.
It feels a little deja vu with this beige lace one shoulder cocktail dress with feather details at the hem was from the Elie Saab Spring 2010 Couture collection but Dakota is just a precious girl so I can't fault her too much. I kind of want to give her a hug. I know she isn't a kid anymore but I can't help it.
I will miss Rachelle but I won't take it against Bryce Dallas Howard just because it wasn't like she kicked Rachelle out. And I loved her Christian Dior lemon gown with a Bulgari necklace. I love the color. I love her hair color. Why couldn't they just use her hair instead of a wig?!
And well, Xavier Samuel holds a special place in my heart. They shouldn't have killed you Riley. You're the hottest thing there is there.
The suit that set the Internet on fire. I have to say, the color shocked me at first, but seeing the maroon Gucci Fall 2010 suit. Others may hate it, but I'm loving it. A lot. It made him stand out and he just totally rocked that shiz.
I love doing the movies. I like all the people. I've had a great time on all of them. The cast is great. [When it's all over] It's just weird. They've become so much a part of my life, it's like divorcing someone. I guess Ill see. Maybe it will be great!
Spell lucky? This fan is. I can only imagine the bodyguards trying to haul her off, but it was sweet of Rob to give her a hug.
They’ve been camping out. Some of them have been camping out since Saturday, apparently. I spiral into this oblivion of guilt whenever they say that because I don’t know what to do. All I can do is sign!
Naughty!Rob always has the best poses on the red carpet. He's so playful and charming and obviously knows how to do right by the fans. Love that.
I still don't have a good answer for these things. But I mean, it's funny when something comes out of nowhere. You know we'd drive to set in a little mini-van for the entire cast and then two years later, it's this. It seems like it will blow over quickly but it doesn't happen. So it just keeps getting bigger. It's just a bizarre thing to happen. [to Jackson] Do you have a better answer than that?
Just a fraction of the hair grab shots. Boy, it's not getting messy, it's cool. But then again, I won't complain. Hands in the hair? I like.
Again, another debatable outfit but it's never a win-win for Kristen on the red carpet of thier premiere. Still, I thought she looked good wearing her one sleeve embroidered Elie Saab Fall 2009 Couture mini-dress witha cutout detail at the back with her Christian Louboutin Big Lips 120 suede pumps. I thought her hair was nicely styled and her make-up: flawless. Her backside though? Definitely my favorite part.
It's cool for me, because I've never had this [amount of fan support] on any of my movies, and I feel like I'm one of them. I feel like we share the exact same passion for this thing. It feels weird to be at the head of it, but it's cool, I'll roll with it.
So many autographs to sign, she eventually got a Sharpie mark on her face. Not to worry though, a quick make-up fix up in the car and she's back with the fans.
“I love it! I’m glad it’s playing right now too. It’s making me feel good. I listen to ‘The Climb’ sometimes when I’m feeling a little down. It’s not too out of, you know, the realm of possibility for me. It’s not my typical type of music. I know it shocked people a little bit, but I think it’s an epic song.
Though the dangling piece of hair takes me back to the 90s, Kristen pulled off this look really well. She looks stunning.
It's completely different from anything I've done. I've done tiny movies which nobody's seen. I wish I didn't have to show up in these dresses. We look like demi-gods when we show up at these things and I want to be able to show up and just, 'hey guys, what's up?' I wanna be able to run around and not feel like my feet are gonna fall off. It just feels like we're put up on this different pedestal and I feel like we're the same cause we have the exact same love for the book.
She's still playing around being her silly self despite being in couture. Gotta love that.
Rob & Kristen
Either she's hanging on for dear life or she's just giving him a really firm grip to keep them both in place. Either way, this photos is just wonderful.
It was fun. It betrayed everything that I had established in the first movies. To play that girl you had to get behind her decision making things. And i was so very much in the mind, like it was Edward and nothing else and so I didn't know how Eclipse was going to go. It was not my favorite of the series. I was so very much in her head. It was fun cause it surprised me everyday. Which it should for her too, cause at that point, she feels she's got it all figured out.
There's always someone looking at someone (yes even Taylor) and it just makes me all warm and fuzzy seeing how they're all each other's support systems here.
Yeah kind of, I mean just inevitably, we were sort of just fighting a lot. I didn't do that many stunts but I was doing a lot of training. Does a fight count as a stunt? No, it was fun. I liked fighting with Peter, especially. Peter Facinelli is the most hilarious person to fight with. He likes to come up with kind of, one-liners after he kinda knocks you out. It's like 'that's three hundred years of experience.'
Kids, please stop killing me with the cuteness. I can only take so much.
