I knew I shouldn't have complained about the theatrical one sheet poster cause after seeing this next batch of posters, I would have been happy with the first set. Bella, Edward and Jacob look very waxen and only Riley is looking fine. Too bad we don't get much of him. With 40 days to go, I'm quite happy with the stash of goodies we got. A sneak peek, a tv spot, a photo shoot (+1), some Rob on Ellen? No complaints here.
Hate is A Strong WordAnd we get the scene Nikki Reed has been excited to make. I'm liking her hair in this one. At least her wig looks better than Bella's. I see that they're not in Edward's room either and Bella isn't about to sleep but hey, I'm sure Slade has a reason for this. And not that I want it made badly, but I'm glad everyone is back onboard for Book 4.
DestinyAnd the TV spots come a rolling. I'm still hoping we get one more trailer just because we got spoiled with three last time, so I'm hoping we get just one more. Still, I'm having really high hopes/good vibes about this one. After listening to the entire Neutron Star Collision
(Love Is Forever) a bazillion times, it does grow on you and no I'm more excited for the rest of the soundtrack.
She [Stewart] checks the book: "Believe — ie or ei?"When these three get together for interviews, it always sounds like a blast and this one is no different. USA Today crafted a really interesting interview that wasn't dragging and just gave a good enough glimpse to their dynamics. With lines like this:
"I before e except after c," Pattinson responds.
She checks. "Oh, yeah," she says with a triumphant fist pump.
Pattinson laughs. "I almost spelled Oprah wrong. I almost wrote Opera."
Such subterfuge includes neither confirming nor denying that they are in a relationship. Yet there clearly is some sort of special connection between the two, what with their playful teasing and personal asides. Let's just say it wasn't Lautner who placed a hand on Pattinson's leg during a portion of the interview. They sensationalize just enough without being too probing. Sneaky, but I like it. Plus it still focuses on the movie. And the photo shoot that came with it was pretty cute as well. So all in all, good first interview of the trio for Eclipse.
Rob on EllenPart 1 | Part 2It's always a treat to watch Rob on Ellen just because they always manage to get something silly out of him and this time was no exception. The look on his face while he was getting felt up by the fan was hilarious. It was like he was trying to reel in his discomfort. Then again, I wouldn't want to be felt up either. Leave it to Ellen to always make things interesting.
