I'm filled to the top with fear[3 Down/49 To Go!]
[+] Thanks to our sucky postal system, I'm still receiving holiday cards! Thanks so much to obscures, jenniferkaos, stitchesofgold, sometimescrazy and mizra! My holidays are extended!

[+] Though my uncle left on Saturday and my aunt is leaving tomorrow, I feel good cause I got to see them A LOT while they were here. Plus I've re-learned how to play Mahjong even if I am the Jar Jar Binks of our group. I will get to Darth Vader level! Promise.

[-] If I thought last week was a LOOOONG week at work, this week seemed even longer. I guess I better get used to it.

[-] And I apologize for being such a shitty friend this week. I'm just really horrible with catching up and I'm going to do that right now.

My dad took me to work this morning (saving me an Monday rush commute) so I thought it would be the sign of a good day. But then we find out that we didn't get the pitch we had worked on and that sucks. It would have been a lot of work in the long run, but I really was hoping our team would land it. Oh well, there'll be other pitches. Thank god for A Rough Start updates to cheer me up!
Losing a pitch can be totally disheartening so it's taking a bit more out of me to work on other pitches, but I guess I'll get used to it in the long run. I headed to my grandma's house after work and had dinner with my uncle and aunt. But the best part was I got to Skype with _lexizzle! I can't believe it's only been 2 weeks since he left. It feels like forever already.
I actually got to go home early today. After days and days of staying later than usual, I was off by 6 and was able to head to Mall of Asia to have dinner with my uncle, aunt and parents. This is always a good thing in my book. And even if I was exhausted when I got home, at least it's a good kind of exhaustion. Having an Emancipation Proclamation update always helps too.
It's silly but I get starstruck at the most banal things. We had a meeting with one of the founders of Multiply (whom our company works with a lot) and their CEO came over and though I've emailed with him and spoken to him via conference calls, it's still different seeing him live. It was nice to have lunch out with him. Then we crashed back to reality with the shitload of work we had waiting.
My manager Tasha took a leave today so I had to do things sans her. And though I miss having her (for constant supervision making sure I don't mess up), it felt pretty good doing things on my own. It helps that I got a Art After 5 future one-shot and a sorta sequel to AA5, Some Little Girls AND The Cannabean Betrothal. So freaking fantastic. Really.
Despite waking up late, I surprisingly got a lot in for the day. Other than bringing my injured brother Pio to the tailor to get his suit done for the PROMS he's been invited to, I got to sort of catch up on some reading and even got to watch It's Complicated which I absolutely loved. Also, my sleeping habits on weekends are definitely terrible. I don't know how I manage.
Woke up early enough for mass, surprisingly since I slept so early in the morning but I always feel like I need to make up for 'me time' that I don't get during the week. Finally saw Get Smart which I thought was A+ And then we had dinner with my aunt who's going back to Rolla, North dakota tomorrow. But the visitors don't stop. My grandma is arriving any minute now. Hello new visitor.
