With her gracing W Magazine's cover, her interview comes off as the most natural thing in the world sans any pretense and obnoxiousness. And this is partly why I love her. Cause even if she doesn't exactly star in the most cutting edge of movies, her personality is so freaking likeable you can't help but get endeared to her.
And though I have yet to see Invention of Lying or Ghosts of Girlfriends Past, I'm still looking forward to Valentines Day. I hope that one does well for her.
"I live my life at these two extremes. I’m either a full-time stay-at-home mom or a full-time actress. Getting the kids up and fed, getting one to school, getting the other down for a nap, going to the grocery store, picking one up from school, getting the other one down for another nap, cooking dinner"
"I tried to get on Ina’s show [The Barefoot Contessa]. I tried to use my, well, you know…I say, use what you have to make the world better or for yourself! But eventually she just said, ‘I’m sorry, I only use my real friends on the show.’ I felt like, What are you saying? That we’re not friends? I know everything about you!"
"Ben asks me, ‘How come when I do an interview I manage to keep you out of it completely?’ And I’m like, ‘Either because you don’t think about me or because boy magazines don’t care about what I make you for dinner. But they should!"
