Trying my best to take long strides on the treadmill while watching Batman Begins. My legs are hurting and I'm so out of breath/out of shape, but watching Batman do those push-ups effortlessly inspires me. Also, I forget just how awesome a movie this is.
There was a time when I could use any shampoo I wanted, but recently my hair has been falling off in gross amounts and so my mom told me to stop using my shampoo, which is Sunsilk. It was apparently too strong for my hair. I didn't want to wait till the day that I had none left. This is so not product placement. Now I'm using Herbal Essences. I'm hoping my hair doesn't fall with this one either.
Belatedly taking a picture of myself for Dailybooth. I'm officially addicted to this thing, even if I only started in March. I wish I knew about it sooner so that I could complete an entire year, but it's okay. And this is why my sleeping schedule is so messed up, I'm still wide awake at quarter to 4 in the morning.
And we're more than halfway through the year, as Vanessa, Monique and Ashley remind me in all their High School Musical 3 glory. I'm guessing this is the time of year that they would have graduated but it was back in April for me. The days on the calendar are mostly blank save for some 'work' deadlines I have to meet. Oh noes, I've got one coming up soon.
My little sister and I rearranged our room on a whim one day last month and this is the new view from my bed. I finally have a wall to lean back instead of windows hitting my head. It's also easier to get a signal from the WiFi from my bed and thus the reason I'm always on my bed with the laptop now. This is not good for my back.
These flowers were given to jamypye yesterday for a very special occasion. Let's just say July 11 will mean a whole lot more to her than it will for the rest of the family. I have to say, pretty flowers -- they remind me of the ones I got for my graduation. And no, my sister graduated four years ahead of me. She got them from less familial relations.
We ate a really late breakfast, which I don't consider lunch so at around 3pm, I felt the hunger pangs attack and I was greeted by rows of instant noodles to satisfy my supposed hunger. Alas, laziness took the best of me and no matter how instant these noodles cook, I resorted to crackers and dip. Not quite the healthy route either.
I tried reading Can You Keep A Secret in the living room while _lexizzle watched some The Wire. I was obviously not successful in getting any further in the book because the lives of the drug-addled folks in Baltimore, MD are so much more interesting to me. I love McNulty.
The night before, we had McDonalds for dinner delivered to us and I forgot I had a McFlurry! This turned out to be a good thing cause then I was able to tide myself over till dinner with some ice cream while watching the bad-assery going down in The Wire. This totally cancels out any progress I had done on the treadmill this morning.
Eat Well Restaurant
I didn't realize how we were eating dinner so 'early' tonight. Pamy treated us to dinner at a restaurant recommended to her and the Chinese food was amazing, but more on that later. It was a really jampacked place and filled with lots of Chinese therefore it must be good. Their lamps were also pretty.
Eat Well Restaurant
Speaking of the food, I love Chinese food. I've tasted my share of restaurants, but this one was so generous with the shrimps (my favorite). We had Yang Chow fried rice and Salt and Pepper squid, and lots of dimsum and this egg and shrimp thing. And for dessert we had these mochi things which I'm not quite sure how to describe, but all I know was that it had a chocolate center.
32nd and 5th Bathroom
And for my requisite shot of myself today. I forgot to use the bathroom at Eat Well so it was lucky we stopped by another building to check out a restaurant that we would be eating at next week (I know, we're already planning our next pig out right after eating). The bathroom was nice and the soap was foamy and minty. I'm excited for next week's meal too. Obviously, I have a one-track mind.
