Here I Come When I Better Go; I Say Yes When I Ought To Say No

Cuteness at every age -- 22 Down/30 to Go [Dad]
This week comprised of rain, rain and more rain. Seriously. That means internet coming and going. Winds blowing and me getting freaked out by trees swaying. Anyway, since everyone's done this meme, do this for me and I'll answer your questions in the voice post I do tomorrow:

The problem with LiveJournal is that we think we're close, but really, we know nothing about each other.
So I want you to ask me something you think you should know about me, something that should be obvious, but you have no idea about, or something you've always been curious about but have never asked, or something completely silly that you'd like me to answer for kicks. No limits on the range of questions, either: ask me anything you want to know about, whether it's a fannish opinion or a question about a fic of mine or trivia about my real life or my thoughts on events in the offline world.

I'm hoping for a less rainy week ahead and more enlightenment for me (employment-wise) and I hope everyone enjoyed their weekend!

[+] Woke up in time for the MTV Movie Awards but because Firefox kept crashing everytime I attempted to watch a streaming version, I ended up making do with the live blogging and the LJ comms. Plus people were kind enough to keep uploading videos of the wins so it was like I was watching it too.
[+] Went to Galleria with my parents cause Pietro was looking for a condenser mic (I know! so professional -- he's got tons of recording stuff!). I ended up buying a headband! With polka dots! I love it right now.
[-] Enchanted Kingdom hates me. For the third time in a row, our planned trip to the magical place in Laguna was cockblocked this time not by a) the park being closed like cockblock number 1; b) the lines being waaaaay too long like cockblock number 2 but instead were the traffic and heavy rains. I hate how EK hates me.
[+] Instead, parents fed us snack at Carlo's Pizza and though the food was divine, I love me some Italian, I couldn't help but sulk over the cancelled EK trip. I hate this.
[+] Stayed up till 4am to catch up on Innocent, Vigilant, Ordinary and wow. My heart hurt. Seriously. It was so heavy from all the angst but so pretty too. I'm hoping it gets updated too on a more regular pace but I'm not going to complain.
[+] Watched 2 depressing films back to back. Why do I subject myself to good but sad movies? 4 Months, 3 Weeks and 2 Days was on abortion in Romania in the 80s while Before Night Falls was on homosexuality in Cuba in the 60s-70s. I'm gonna watch happy movies tomorrow.
[+] The rain is crazy. Really crazy. I'm glad I'm not working yet because I would be so lazy to get out of the house with this weather. Trees are swaying so much and the wind is so loud. I'm kinda freaked out. The internet went away for a while and the cable is messed up. Rain scares me.
[+] Due to yesterday's depressing movie binge, I saw Casanova, The Day the Earth Stood Still which was so bad it was funny and Center Stage 2: Turn It Up. Oh yes, what a turnaround from yesterday's sad-fest.
[+] Only Pio's 2nd day of class and it's already been suspended cause of the 'heavy' rains. Yet when I wake up, there is no rain! Oh the irony of things!
[+] Spent the afternoon in my grandma's house again where she loves to spoil me. So I watched the OC on her bed whilst eating ice cream. Exercise is futile in this house.
[+] Saw Charliet Bartlett which makes me love Anton Yelchin even more and Chocolat which is never good when you're on the treadmill as it will make you very very hungry. Exercise Fail. But great movies.
[+] I braved the rains and half-commuted (Pamy drove me halfway) to Gateway so I could pick up Nikki's graduation present to me: she ordered Perfect Fifths for me!!!! I was screaming on the phone when she informed me.
[+] In my haste to read Perfect Fifths, I finally finished All Fun and Games Until Someboydy Loses An Eye which I was kind of hard at reading to begin with but TOTALLY FELL IN LOVE WITH a quarter into the book. Who knew there would be so much romance/!?! Brookmyre, I demand a sequel to this!!!
[+] Had a great eat-all-you can lunch of Japanese food (mostly) with my dad's side of the family and it was great cause we got to hang out with cousins again. The dad side of the family has their own brand of crazy which is something that gets taking used to. Still fun times with my food baby.
[+] Finally met jazz_stiletto! After years of online acquaintance, I finally speak to her in the flesh rather than looking from afar. Here's to your future internet domination!
[-] Spent the afternoon in Shangri-la and didn't get to buy anything mostly out of guilt for already shopping for books last time I went out and the fact that I am still unsure of what I plan on doing with myself employment wise. Please God, just throw a job at me and I'll take it. I wish.
[+] Bumped into Klar when we got into Shang!!! I was so shocked we started jumping and hugging in front of a ton of people. Embarrassing in hindsight but totally right for that moment. I miss you KOOKIE!!!! We MUST hang out!
[-] Wanted to go to Greenhills afterwards but I left Shang too late and so ended up only making it to the parking lot. Not fun. The high part of this was we were there for so short we didn't have to pay for parking. One great thing.
