“I've been a student in the College of Mass Communication for four years now and for the first time in my life, I was actually a talent in a film production. It's been a sort of dream of mine to actually star in a film production because I've seen my orgmates make countless short films, narratives, whatever and I've always just been a PA or an assistant or somebody holding the reflectors.
But because of my friend Ana Alcala, more fondly known as Alcs or Nizzle, I actually was the star. Not that I was much of a shining star, I have to admit acting is not my forte. Yes, I am a drama queen, but that's minus the cameras -- I'm full of drama. But when you turn on the cameras, I totally freeze up. That's why I had to give a disclaimer to Ana that I am a terrible actress.
Actually, the short was on unrequitted love and I am an expert at that, so I didn't have to do much acting. I played the girl part to Ana's friend, Cholo -- the lead guy. He actually came to the shoot even if he had no class. I really look up to his persistence and perseverance because if I had no class, I wouldn't come to school for a production. I'm so mean.
It was a little hard, because again, I hate having to act in front of the camera, so I guess good luck to Nizzle. And I can't wait to see the final product, of my first -- and last, I'm sure -- starring role.”
