Karolina Kurkova, 24, is best known for being a Victoria's Secret Angel whose superfit physiqueAll I can say is "WHAT THE HELL?" Karolina Kurkova so ISN'T fat! She's not even heavy. She's not even plump. She's not even normal. She's thin! She's a model! This girl looks good in bikinis! In lingerie! She's a Victoria's Secret Angel for angel's sake! And those models are not fat. Not even plus-sized. What is wrong with these people?!
has graced the pages of fashion magazines around the world. But her recent chunkier appearance at the Cia Maritima show during Sao Paulo Fashion Week had fashion critics up in arms. An article in a Brazilian paper about the leggy 5'11" Karolina described how "shocked" the audience was when she appeared looking uncharacteristically chubby with "cellulite on her butt." [The Improper]
I swear! What is wrong with the industry? Apparently, models have been dying because they're too thin! There was this model who died because she weighed 88 pounds for her 5'8" height and was subsisting on lettuce and diet Coke for months! LETTUCE?! Where's the dressing?
Sure, maybe Karolina Kurkova gained a few pounds... WAIT! What am I saying?! Who cares?! She still looks great in that bikini! If Kurkova's getting flack for being fat, what the hell is this going to do to the fragile self-esteem of girls everywhere? I mean seriously!? I mean, I know I'm not thin, but I'm not fat either. This is totally going to skew my mind set -- or the minds of anorexic girls out there. We don't need more model deaths! Brazilian press! Stop it!!! She looks fine!!!
It's so sad how body image is being skewed once again. Therefore, I end on a happy note. Tonight, instead of wishing I were thinner, I am going to wish I get to sample the world's 'most expensive burger'.
Say hello to Burger King's 'The Burger' which was created recently made in the name of the Help a London Child charity. What exactly is in this burger that makes it soooo expensive (it costs $200), it beat out the former 'most expensive burger' (which was $130)?
The fine ingredients of what is called simply 'The Burger' include Wagyu beef, white truffles, Pata Negra ham slices, Cristal onion straws, Modena balsamic vinegar, lambs lettuce, pink Himalayan rock salt, organic white wine and shallot infused mayonnaise in an Iranian saffron and white truffle dusted bun. [FoxNEWS]I swear! Maybe Karolina ate one of these because she wants to help out charity! The press is so evil! Here's to more Wagyu burgers! Here's to lovehandles! And backfat! And cellulite (none of which Kurkova has). Here's to normal bodies! Here's to staying healthy and fit! I'm going to be saving up to savor one of these asap.
