Voice Post: Happy Christmakwanzakah!

Have a holly jolly Christmas!!!
I hope every one else had a fantabulous Christmas with your loved ones.
Let's eat our hearts out, as weight gain is excusable this time of year.
Christmas with the Cids

“Merry Christmas everyone. I hope everybody had a good Christmas dinner. I surely had. I ate two different types of ham: Spanish and Chinese. I couldn't really tell the difference, but they were very good. I also had some fruit salad which I think really did me in, as I ate three small plates full of it. Good job Jeannie on the fruit salad! I truly enjoyed it. I don't know, maybe it's just me, but I'm getting older so Christmas this year was so much shorter than the other Christmases was. We went over to Mama Lily's house as usual. I mean I enjoyed it. The mass was shorter. Christmas was shorter this year. Maybe because I didn't open as many gifts? I opened a lot of envelopes this year and that's always good. But I guess the childlike innocence of being excited to open gifts is kinda gone. I'm glad that I got to spend Christmas with my family because PB is leaving tomorrow already. Day after Christmas. How sad is that. But I'm glad I got to spend the Christmas break with him. I don't know I really do hope everybody else had a better Christmas. I'm not complaining, I enjoyed. I just feel like that something really was missing. I don't know maybe the Christmas cheer will rub off on me during these next few days. Maybe because I didn't get any kisses underneath the mistletoe. Haha. I don't know. But there. Merry Christmas everybody. Hope you all had a good holiday.”

I didn't write to Santa this year, and yet I still ended up with gifts! Now that's a Christmas miracle. Although I would have wished for snow, that's obviously not happening. Even if I'm older (not wiser), I guess there's still some things I can look forward to Christmas time (nothing profound or deep, just spending time with loved ones and all that holiday jazz!)

Gift time

Gift time is always a great part of any Christmas eve! Special thanks to Sophie for her gift, The Surrendered Single: A Practical Guide to Attracting and Marrying the Man Who's Right for You by Laura Doyle. This is surely going to be a good read over the Christmas break. I might learn a thing or two. Thanks to AC also for my gift from our Exchange gift in our org. And a a BIG THANK YOU to mellowdee and maraudersaffair!!! I got your holiday cards!!! They're so pretty!!! I love them! ♥

Home at last

I can't believe I'm going to have to wait another 365 days 'til the next Christmas. Then again, counting down is half the fun of anything. But of course, before I forget, Christmas is all about camwhorage. So head on over here to find more trigger happy shots. I guess camwhoring really does run in the family.
