Every show i watch has someone named Chuck! Chuck from Gossip Girl is just fabulously evil/devious yet loveable especially now with Blair. Chuck from Pushing Daisies just oozes adorableness. The number of ways she finds to get close to Ned, without actually getting close just makes me warm and fuzzy. And then of course there's Chuck from Chuck who's just all sorts of awesome. Chuck with Lou or Chuck with Sarah, I'm not going to complain either way.
4. Points of Passion
I love fabulous ad campaigns and this one, made for the Conde Nast group of magazines is just freaking amazing. Each of their magazine has its own ad and tag line and because of 123, I am in awe at anything that has to do with advertising. These ads are just so good, the hairs at the back of my neck literally stood up. Of course, having hotties like Hugh Jackman and Patrick Dempsey in them are an added bonus too.
3. Flat Screen TVs
So my father is just the king of technology. He has to be on top of everything. I think he considers gadgets/golf stuff his sort of luxury. Since our old TV is practically dead (i.e., the remote doesn't work, and neither do the volume buttons -- thus the volume only goes UP and not down!), Dad let impulse buying take over and purchased a flat screen. I'm not going to complain, but it looks like Mom isn't so happy with this little spree dad did. I'm sure seeing Martha Stewart on HD will change her mind.
2. Knowledge Gained
The limbo of not knowing where you stand is excruciating. I've been wading through uncharted territories, totally oblivious as to what direction things were going in. Now, I know. Yes, it wasn't what I wanted as an answer, but at least I can move in one direction -- or try to move. Truth hurts, but at least I'm not lost. The Eels said it best: "Birds singing a song, old paint is peeling. This is that fresh, that fresh feeling."
1. PB's home!
The brother has returned to Manila! PB/Lex is finally home and we're complete again! His timing is bad though (he always returns in the beginning of the semester, thus a great distraction!), but I couldn't care less. Everyday, we spend hours beside each other, on laptops, scrobbling, watching movies, watching Pushing Daisies, commenting on each other's LJs and downloading music. Talk about bonding.
