Nowhere Else I'd Rather Be

Other than Chuck, I'm pretty much addicted to Pushing Daisies too. According to Wiki, Pushing Daisies is about Ned, a pie maker with the mysterious ability to make the dead live again. The gift is not without its complications - if he touches someone that he's revived a second time, they die permanently; and if a person is revived for more than 60 seconds, someone else nearby dies.

I think Lee Pace as Ned is just the most adorable pie maker ever. And though I'm a Ned-Chuck shipper, I can't help but feel for Olive (played by Kristin Chenoweth). She's been the underdog since day 1, and I feel terrible for her. I'm glad she finally got to tell Ned what she's been feeling all along.

Ned: Olive
Olive: Still here
Ned: I'm sorry I've been avoiding you and I'm sorry I said our saliva was not compatible.
Olive: I'm a big girl. I'll be okay.
Ned: I know you will.
Olive: Will you? [pause] I hope you and Chuck make it work. I really do. But if you can't, I hope it doesn't take forever to figure that out. [pause] I just want you to be happy.
Narrator: And Olive did. Though she wasn't ready to let go of the hope that her perfect pie maker's perfect happiness might lie with her.

The writer's strike is still going on, so Pushing Daisies might just finish with the 9th episode. So not cool. I need more than just 9 episodes of Ned-Chuck-Olive. ♥
