After working on it for weeks and weeks and weeks (I should have just typed months), this week is going to be jampacked with activities to celebrate the org's 14 years -- and lovin' it. Today, we had the launch of the AVP, the exhibit, the pakain (food!), the website, and the newsletter. Whew.
I memorize the activities this time around, because I was responsible for making the publicity materials of the anniversary and making it was no joke. I went through a gazillion revisions; tons of visits to the shopping center for printing and just plain toiling over it. In the end, the activities may commemorate the org's 14 year existence, but for me, it's spending time with the people in the org (orgmates!) that really matter.
I checked back on the last time I had pictures with my orgmates and it was way back in the first semester of 2nd year college -- that was before the camera started it's downward spiral. But since my dad got his new camera, I feel less guilty about bringing the old Ixus to school. A new year should mean new pictures.
It's already season 3. Time for new plots and characters. After all, I've got a new haircut to show off. Plus, every time I go on Multiply, people are posting pictures and pictures, which I'm most of the time NOT IN. I miss camwhoring. So today, I went on a mad dash to get pictures with orgmates. You can check them out over here.
And in other great news, we didn't have any BC 121 today! Sure, I stayed up till 5 am doing my storyboard (with crummy drawings, because Paola was asleep) and awful camera shots, but at least I didn't have to embarrass myself by talking about it in class. So thanks sir for this quasi free afternoon off. I get a little more shut eye.
So I realized this post made no sense whatsoever. I actually just wanted to post that I had a haircut, and that's done with. Let's go and study. Psych 101, here I come!
