emma; only girl in the world

Keep Dreading Monday

Tomorrow is yet another Monday. Funny how I find myself counting down days all the time. I can't believe the ACET is already done. The shock still hasn't subsided. If only I were a genius, I could have done better. Unfortunately, I'm a mere human. But thanks to Jo and her endless hugs, I feel better. Not best, but a lot greater than the shitty feeling I had yesterday.

And since this is a new week, I promise to do things on time. Right after this, I'm going to clean my perennially messy room -- again, I'm going to read for my subjects next week -- yeah right, I think I might even do a bit of IW preparation. No, I'm going to try to start something this week. Also, since the ACET is over, I can fully begin Reggie's Slytherin scarf which I'm really excited about. I haven't crocheted in a really long time and I can't wait for my fingers to get all numb on me.

Here I am downloading songs for Iza's party to be and I'm already getting excited. Sure, things aren't going stellar between some of us, but I guess the party will make me want to just forget every silly thing happening right now. The songs are making me want to dance! If any of you have any suggestions as to what I should download for the party, just comment so that Iza's birthday bash will have a rocking soundtrack!

And I just realized that starting November, debut season is going to start! So many people are having their debuts and I'm getting excited for them. Just hearing about their plans and cotillion practices is making me giddy. My mom's already asking me what I want for my own 18th birthday, and until now I don't know. All I know is I want the cake on the cover of that Wilton Cake Yearbook -- yes, they actually have those. But other than the cake, I don't know crap.

Oh well, February is a looooong time from now anyway. I'll put if off again for now.
