I, neophyte

I'm home! I can't believe I got home this early. I was dismissed at 2pm today and can I just say that I'm so glad my parents picked me up. If not, I'd be rotting away in school right now, because the school bus can't make a quick trip home. Oh well, I got home at 3 and that's all that matters.

I had my first duty today for CSDC. I was assigned to the gym and I have to say that I was really nervous. I usually mess up and today was no different. I make a TON of mistakes, but my gorgeous senior officers are just the sweetest, most understanding people on earth. I the newbie in all of this probably caused the most mistakes ever. The phrase, "Ma'am, my mistake, Ma'am," is the phrase that is ingrained in my head.

Still, I have to say that I'm getting a little better. I can pocket my smiles now, I can look five hundred meters away, and I can surely do the darap without causing too much of a mess. Foxtrot has to work more on our hanay skills, and our count off, but other than that, I'm not that bad.

But what made my day was when Ma'am Añonuevo told me she was going to give me merits. I don't know if that's true, or if I was hearing things, but that totally made everything great. Not that I'm merit-hungry, because I'm not just about that, but I won't be a hypocrite either in saying that I don't want merits, because I do.

When Ma'am Bacani inspected me and told me I had a nice hankie and a good shirt, that felt really good too. I wanted to smile and throw my hands up in the air in triumph -- I wasn't breathing from the layers of underwear I had on so that no one could pull out my tight shirt -- but I had to pocket my smile and stare five hundred meters away. So now, I shall celebrate. **Jumps off her seat and does a victory dance!!!**

I don't know how long this giddiness I have for CSDC will last, but so far it's been pretty good. Maybe because I've been thinking so negatively about it, that anything that happens would be a great thing. Still, I have to take my hat off to the senior officers who worked their asses of last year to get where they are now. You guys really deserve what you have now. And thanks for a fun yet, discipline-instilling program. I'm surely glad it ain't CAT anymore.

Crazy For Whom?

PB always calls Paopie crazy monkey. Why? I guess he's trying to be sweet to her. We all are. But see, I think I'm the real crazy one. Oh wait, everyone already knew that. Just sharing...

Enough said

Do I even have to say anything else? Not really. This says it all, but of course, I have to talk. I always have to. Sure, I may not need one, and I really don't want one right now, but it never hurt to have someone find you pretty right? Or even nice. Goodness, I want an admirer. A decent one. Not one of those freaky stalker dudes who can't differentiate a big fat NO from a yes.

Apparently, I don't need one and they're quite right.
