emma; only girl in the world

Great things start from small beginnings

I learned something yesterday during GA. Don't wear your beaded rosary while clapping for your friends. Why? Because you never know when one of the crystal beads are going to jab into your wrist and make you have a stinging little wound that won't stop bleeding.

Yes, I, the fool, accidentally stabbed my own wrist with a supposed harmless rosary bead, but I am currently suffering from the pain that this little wound has inflicted on my poor, hurting wrist. Nevertheless, things weren't so bad during that said GA. I'm a Milo fan now too. In fact, besides my current fascination with the chocolate milk drink, I also intend on taking up Taekwondo. Why the sudden desire for milk and sports?

Blame it on a really cute guy. He definitely made GA worthwhile. This cutie didn't even strike my eye the first time I saw him, which was in a Milo ad, which didn't really make an impression on me. In fact, I thought he looked like a Hua Ze Lei rip-off. And he looked really young.

Yet, something was different yesterday. Maybe it was the lack of cute guys around, but he was a sight for sore eyes and trust me, we've been deprived. He still had that young kid look going on, but he was wearing his Taekwondo outfit and he was live in the flesh -- boy am I glad I was in the first row -- and we were just losing it.

I have to admit, the fact that he's a black belter and can jump over five kids then slice a plywood into two with his flying kick was pretty cool. In fact, it made him so much more appealing. Despite the fact that my wrists were bleeding -- yup, both wrists -- I couldn't get off my seat. Is that how bad the hot male drought has become?

Nevertheless, this guy has given my class a new hope. We no longer tread the hallways a la zombie and instead we carry ourselves better in hopes he'll appear in our school once more. The best part is, I heard he's a year older than us and is in college already. It's getting better already.

Sure, these might not have any real relevance, but it made me smile and that's a great thing. So if you're reading this, Josh, come and get me.
