emma; only girl in the world

Tomorrow will be a happy day

There is probably only one reason why I love GMA and that's cause we don't have classes tomorrow. Why? I really don't care! She's getting inaugurated in Cebu, but I guess we're supposed to stay home while that happens. I don't care, because I finally get my first no classes day. I've only been in school for 12 days and I feel like sh** already. What's wrong with me?

Anyway, I'm not going to waste my free day. Well, at least I hope I won't. I was planning on watching Spider Man 2, but I don't think that's going to follow through. My brothers have class tomorrow (haha!!!!!!), so I don't have anyone to watch with. None of my friends live close enough for me to hitch a ride to a cinema. But I have plans on christening the newly revamped cinema next to my home. I shall refrain from naming it for my sake.

Our elective teacher was absent today. Since we don't have class tomorrow, we don't meet him at all. The thing is, I was kind of getting interested in Sociology which is rare for me as nothing seems to be catching my fancy this year. I hope I learn something though, because I usually don't learn anything from my social science classes. It's not the subject, I think I'm just not really the historical type. I'm more of the recess and lunch kind of person, but I guess I don't really have much of a choice.

I borrowed Moonlight Mile from sweetie Kimi. Expect a review tomorrow, in spite of how biased it will be. I'm really excited. What a way to spend my no classes day. I am way psyched because it has been a goal of mine to watch every movie he's been in and so far, I'm off to a good start.

  • Day After Tomorrow, The (2004) .... Sam Hall DONE
  • Moonlight Mile (2002) .... Joe Nast (I'm about to...)
  • Highway (2002/I) .... Pilot Kelson
  • Good Girl, The (2002) .... Thomas 'Holden'/'Tom' Worther DONE
  • Lovely & Amazing (2001) .... Jordan
  • Bubble Boy (2001) .... Jimmy Livingston DONE
  • Donnie Darko (2001) .... Donnie Darko
  • October Sky (1999) .... Homer Hickam

Not bad for someone who just started her little obsession. Haha! I've got a lot of time anyway, so there's no hurry. Nevertheless, this guy has got really interesting movies. They're very unusual and they really make you want to watch them not just because he's there, but because they're actually interesting. Okay, I know that I'm sounding very fan-like again, but hey, I always liked fake guys (celebrities) better anyway. It's true. Fen-fenita and I were talking one day and I gave her a list of why I think fake guys rock!

  1. they're hotter than real ones
You're average boy-next-door is no comparison for Eric Bana, Heath Ledger, Orlando Bloom, or dare I say Jake Gyllenhaal??? Come on, this is pretty much self-explanatory. Then again, if anyone can produce a normal guy that can beat these dudes in the looks department, I'd like to get his number. Yeah right.
  2. you can SEE them any time you want
Well, if again you are an obsessive fanatic and happen to take note of each and every TV appearance, movie, TV show, radio interview, chat and the like, then you can really see them anytime you want. There's no hassle. You don't have to wait every weekend to see the dude. You don't have to wonder if you'll ever hear him speak again. So why don't you print out a nice high quality shot of the fake guy and plaster them to your notebooks and books so that you can see them anytime you want. Or buy the DVDs of their movies so that you're sure you'll always hear they're melodious voice. Again, these are all just hypothetical, really.
  3. they won't hurt you, won't argue with you or piss you off
The reason why I really love fake guys. They don't know you. Therefore, zero chances of you getting hurt, ignored and cast aside. They can't promise you things that they know they can't do -- like call you or the like. The reality is they don't really know you so they can't really hurt you. Unless of course, you are a rabid fan and get hurt when your favorite fake guy runs off with his undeserving waif thin yet absurdly beautiful Hollywood girlfriend **cough** Kirsten Dunst **cough**. I'm being hypothetical, of course. So really, these guys can't hurt you.

So Fen-fen, here's to fake guys. They make life so much better for girls like us. Here's to all those hotties out there who have a . May you find the most deserving loves of your lives.
