Keep on Moving

I got a christmas gift today!

I don't care if its late. My boss and I met up today at the UP tennis courts and I was extremely pleased to find that my employer had a gift for me!

After leaving high school, I realized that I wouldn't get any Christmas presents. College sucks in that way, I guess. I don't really have a set group of friends close enough to give me presents, but its all good. Its not like I gave too many presents either this year. So it all works out fine in the end.

Anyway, I received a portable disco ball! What exactly is that? Well, its really just a disco ball, but you can carry it around, because it's small enough. I love it! I've always wanted one, but was too stingy to pay for one. Now I have one.

Then I went to the bank because I had to deposit some checks and I suddenly realize, that I didn't know what the hell I was doing. I tried filling out a deposit slip but wasn't quite sure if what I was doing was right. So I end up filling two deposit slips out. Thank goodness the teller was really nice. She didn't make fun of my inability to fill out deposit slips.

Since PB was out with his highschool friends, Niq, Pamy and I end up watching chick flicks. 13 Going on 30 was the crowd pleaser. I don't even remember what we were watching before that because the movie just blew us away.

I had already watched it before and so did Niq, but Pamy had never finished it, so there was still an element of surprise for them. Mark Ruffalo and Jennifer Garner are too cute together! They're chemistry is just amazing. Surely, not the most believable story line, but the movie was so cute.

Since it's PB's last day here, we decided to go out. We end up at Podium and we only spend a bit there because Paola wants to use her gift certificates at National Bookstore. Her new addiction seems to be Archie comics so we end up buying four of them. And since the GC was for 500, there was still 24 pesos left. So we peruse the store and end up buying a paintbrush. Sure, we're still short 1.50, but I really don't think there was anything else she could buy.

Then, we go to Ortigas to buy some DVDs. Since it's our money we were spending, and not our parents (damn), we only get a few DVDs. Pamy gets her Ewan McGregor fix, while Pio completes his Star Wars DVDs. I was about to get Sisterhood of the Travelling Pants for Pietro but I wasn't sure, so I end up not spending anything. Even if I saw Proof. I'm so well behaved and proud of myself. I kept my purse closed.

Finally, we eat dinner with my parents and aunt at Fazollis and we probably over-ordered. Although its better that way, so no one leaves hungry, but I was seriously stuffed! To think I only ate 2 slices. The pizzas were amazing, but it was just too heavy.

Anyway, in 12 hours, PB will be leaving for Singapore. Its sad, really. And I'm going to try not to cry. Because I don't want too much drama at the end of the year. He's leaving, but he'll be back soon (hopefully). I need to be stronger this year. And hopefully I'll start tomorrow.
