I was seated with my college, CMC, and it was just really quiet. Then the emcee says that people from Mass Comm tend to be really noisy and we started making noise. The power of suggestion works wonders. I guess everyone else with me just wanted to live up to the long-standing tradition of noisy students.
Of course, my pseudo-block consisted of an all girl cast (save for the lone male). Apparently, my twelve member block is the "other" block. Pamy explained that they were the bigger block back then and there was that other block. Wonderful.
Still, I really like my block. Though we won't really have any classes together, I like meeting new people and since I was the only one from high school in my course, everyone here is completely new! Getting to know people from different schools was pretty cool too. Our block handlers did a pretty good job too. They were funny and yeah, they picked on me and my high school, but it wasn't like I wasn't expecting it. I was already tempted to not give my highschool, but hey... why not? They were really nice about it. It was just the normal reflex. It's not surprising, but it was weird cause I wasn't offended at all.
I was excused for my first two subjects, Math 1 (yup, just plain Math 1), and Pan Pil 17, but I had to show up for PE 2 STD (which stands for streetdancing). Our professor was attending the CHK orientation though, so I basically had no classes.
And well, tomorrow is a Wednesday, meaning I still don't have class. Whoopee!
But I guess knowing that I know some people in the university made things better. Good luck to the Diliman girls :Sam, Angela, Dana U, Dana C, Joanna, Andy, Gela, Klar, Mindy, Lee-Ann, Yla, Eena, Kit, Monica S and to whoever else I forgot. (sorry!)
can't believe I have school spirit!
