I know I'm the last person to board the Taylor Swift love bandwagon, but I can't help it. After much convincing from the rest of the flist, I finally caved and got her album and I have no regrets at all. Every song transports me back to high school. I feel if I had this album back then, I would be singing it anthemically -- not that I don't do now. And cause I have yet to be fearless, I love the first track. This needs a video. » )

Though I've loved every single song that's been performed on my weekly musical extravaganza that is Glee, I have to say that I still love Lea Michelle's take on the Rihanna song, Take a Bow a whole lot. Other than the fact that I love the original version, Lea Michelle's popified take on it, complete with the pining for Finn angle made me love the song even more. Bitter much? Not really, this one just really hits me every time. » )

Hi, Hi, Hi?[Rolling Stone]
For those who don't know, I was a HUGE *NSync fangirl back in the day. I was in bandom before even I knew what bandom was; before the internet!!! MTV was my best friend.

After the break-up, I never considered them doing a reunion especially since Chris is too old to dance (and he's apparently had 2 knee surgeries in 3 years). But when I read this People interview with Chris, a spark of hope flickered inside my dormant fangirl heart.
"You never know what the future holds. Anything could happen... I think when the stars are aligned, the time is right, and all 5 of us have our heads on straight and know the direction we're going as a band, it'll eventually happen."
If this is for real, I'm saving up now, because I would pay to see these five harmonize again. BRB, digging up my old "No Strings Attached" CD. Looks like it wasn't Bye, Bye, Bye after all.

As I am a horrible music critic and am very easy to please, the music video for Death Cab For Cutie's Meet Me On The Equinox (from the New Moon soundtrack), definitely brought a huge smile to my face when I got to work this morning. Mr. Zooey Deschanel and company's song has totally grown on me and the 'new' scenes from New Moon only make my excitement for this movie GROW. 42 days left. I'm getting impatient. [MTV] » )

I've been going to work for almost a month now and I'm still not really used to waking up 'really early' (before 7am). I realized that listening to happy peppy music helps. And this song is the total pick-me-upper instead of some caffeine. Sure, it's got possibly one of the most far out videos I've seen, but the song is so infectious and hyper that it manages to jump start me for the day. I dare you to not dance along. » )
