After being dubbed by New York Magazine as the "Best. Show. Ever." -- this show can pretty much do anything other than suck. And with the resurection of Gossip Girl from dormancy (due to the writer's strike), I come bearing gifts. Why have just one guy a month, when I can get three for the price of one? This is wholesale hotness at its best.

On and off screen these guys live up to the fact that they're on the TV internet's #1 television show. On screen they're Nate Archibald (Chace Crawford) -- the stoner theoretically perfect boyfriend; Chuck Bass (Ed Westwick) -- the evil instigator with a newly discovered heart; and Dan Humphrey (Penn Badgley) -- the waaaaay too perfect, waaaay too pretty, waaaay to sensitive not-so lonely dude; and they bring just about as much drama as their female counterparts.

Off screen, they're on tabloids, red carpets and of course New York. Virtual "new comers," this show is obviously their big break and it's no wonder why. These faces were meant to be on the screen, on billboards, on buses and on [desktop] wall (papers). They're either your obsession or your guilty pleasure. Admit it, they're pretty damn fine. Mr. April: Gossip Guys -- Hot or Not?

Mr. March belongs to Patrick Dempsey. I guess watching Enchanted three times in a row (in ONE day) can do this to you. There's just something about Dr. McDreamy that gets me going. Ever since I saw him on Sweet Home Alabama, I knew there was something special with the jilted fiance actor that Reese didn't choose. No offense to Josh Lucas, but I was all for Andrew in that film. Then came Grey's Anatomy and Derek Shepherd and all his neurosurgeon hotness. Yes, the character can get a little annoying at times, but Patrick brought so much sex appeal, I actually considered becoming a doctor for a bit (sorry dad!).

Then there was Enchanted, where he played the good-father-slash-true-loves-kiss of Amy Adams. I just fell even harder. Yes, he's married in real life and he's got a kid and he's old enough to be an uncle (a hot one), but that never stopped me before. Happy St. Patrick's Day indeed.

Mr. March: Patrick -- Hot or Not?

Mr. February's got to be Javier Bardem. It's funny because even if I haven't watched a single film of his (save for "Collateral"), all the publicity he's been getting this awards season has piqued my interest. There's just something about a man's man, and that's what Javier is. He's no pretty boy, but there's something so unbelievably sexy about him. Could it be the rugby-trained body? Is it the nose? Is the accent? Whatever it is, I'm sold on it. It doesn't hurt that he's a fabulous actor too and oh that he's dating Penelope Cruz.

It's funny cause usually I'd hate the girl he'd be dating, but seeing him with Penelope makes him even hotter. I see them together (especially while on vacation in Maldives) and it just exudes hotness. They seem like a normal couple who are just so hot together. I figured, since I had a song of the month, I might as well have a guy of the month too. Since 2008 marks the return to delusions-ville for me (this means, I'm done with real life crushes, and have decided to return to the glory of celebrity crushes), why not start the year right by going all in.

Mr. January, is Gong Yoo, a South Korean actor best known for his most recent drama, Coffee Prince, as cocky rich boy, Choi Han Kyul. Alas for me, I got on the Yoo Train too late. As he was scheduled to enlist in mandatory military service today. This means, no Gong Yoo for 2 entire years. This sent me on a mad dash for goodies. I watched him on Biscuit Teacher and Star Candy (don't let the weird name mislead you, it's so funny!) as the adorable Park Tae In. And now I'm drooling over him in the Sydney-set One Fine Day where he displays his six pack abs and his flair for the English language (watch out Daniel Henney!) So semestral break is over practically as I have to go and beg for subjects tomorrow. But al in all, it was pretty good as I did nothing but laze around at home. Of course, I wouldn't have minded if I were able to travel abroad like others, but hey just chillaxing at home is something I won't complain about.

There was quite a few things I got obsessed about and so I made a list of those things that I found myself fixating on these past few weeks. ( ♥ )


Boys: Brian Williams
Is there any news anchor sexier than Brian Williams? Seriously, this guy was lurking around my list of hot guys (albeit at the lower half) because of his stint on NBC Nightly News, which I happen to catch daily. Thing is, after his appearance on SNL last weekend, he just skyrocketed to the upper half. Sure, he's older than my mother and has a kid about my age, but that doesn't remove from his sexiness at all! He's so witty and intelligent and damn that voice. He's so hilarious in this interview with Conan (talk about fandoms colliding)! ( + )

I'm going to miss waking up at non time and falling asleep at 2am just because I can. But the beauty of the second semester is that it starts for like a month then it's already the Christmas break. please pray I get all the subjects I need from CRS tomorrow.
