I read in my grandmother's room and this was right before I went to bed this morning. I started reading City of Ashes yesterday and continued reading today. Obviously an easy read, it's something I'm surprised to enjoy as I'm not exactly a fan of fantasy-themed YA literature.
The requisite calendar shot. This month it's Sharpay. This is actually a really biased calendar as there's not a lot of Zac or the others and a lot of Sharpay -- not that I'm complaining or anything. It's also nearly halfway through the year. Too freaking fast, I tell you.
I love magazines and it's sad that the industry is waning. So I was lucky to receive a windfall of Vogue Magazines from my cousin Niko. I haven't gotten around to reading all of them just yet, but I love organizing. They're currently in a box underneath my bed. I wish I had more storage on my bookshelf.
My Bath Room
Summer weather is so weird. Hot one minute, raining crazy the next. Thus showers are essential. I haven't gotten around to cleaning my side of the bathroom shelves (I split it with my little sister Paola). I'll clean up soon.
Lunch was an assortment of leftovers and additional food (cause we can consume a lot). I love left overs cause there's always something for everyone. A little bit of the macaroni and cheese from breakfast. Some baked buttered mussels from a few nights ago, some pork something from who knows when.
I've been trying to get my brothers to watch movies with me, but they always say no. Today, I found them watching Mamma Mia on their own. I swear it's like these two are just avoiding me on purpose. Oh wait, that's normal behavior, they're my brothers!
Back to my reading spot in my grandma's room. I end up taking naps on her bed too. Finished reading City of Ashes and loved it. Taking a break and reading some Austen again though. Otherwise, I'd just be reading The Mortal Instruments straight and now that I've only got one book left, I'll be sad that there isn't anymore TMI to read.
Wanted to eat an apple, but then found the tiny apple to cute to consume. It's smaller than a cup and it fits in my palm. I couldn't bring myself to eat it though I love apples so much. Resorted to eating chocolates instead. I knew I should have eaten that apple!
This tree was standing upright yesterday. But after that crazy rain and winds, it got uprooted and is now tilting. I felt so bad that they had to cut it down because it couldn't be pushed back upright. Oh well, not that I was a fan of avocados, but it's still sad.
And the mandatory shot of myself, or my shadow at least while watching Gossip Girl 02x24. I usually watch on my laptop and screencap for my recap at the same time but decided to watch it on the television after the longest time. It's still different seeing it on the 'bigger' screen.
That wasn't all I had for dinner. It was part of it. String beans with balsamic vinegar and olive oil and some parmesan cheese? Love love love. I wouldn't have eaten this back then, but some vegetables are now palatable to me and this is one of them.
Alas, I've given back in to eating chocolates. At least it lasted through Lent and thus I consumed some of my share of the Crunch chocolate minis. My share equals five pieces but that's cause I have to split the loot with three other siblings and my dad (thank god PB's not here and that Pamy doesn't eat chocolates!)
