Parking Meters Stink

Thanks to my dad, Tito Mark, Pamy and I found ourselves at the University of Michigan early this morning. And apparently, you can't park without dropping coins into the meter. And meters need to get refilled every hour. You can't just give five bucks and come back in five hours. You have to keep coming back every hour, or you get a ticket that costs a whopping $100! So as we toured the town of Ann Arbor, we had to keep track of time or it was going to be a ticket for us.

The town is real pretty though. I felt like I was in an episode of Gilmore Girls and I was walking around Chilton. It would have been really nice to study there, but it also costs a lot of money.

We rushed back to attend KC's ABC Club awarding, and that was probably another three hour drive. Still, you can get places here with just a few hours thanks to traffic free roads. In Manila, three hours would mean getting stuck in traffic on my way home from school, and it's not even far.
